Being a Summer person, perhaps the only thing that gets me excited for colder weather besides Christmas
are the clothes. And as much as I love putting on my favorite cutoffs, a crop top and a pair of sandals,
I admit that throwing on a couple more layers makes the whole experience way more fun. Think about
mixing patterns, different fabrics, color blocking, etc.. There’s an infinite number of outcomes that you
can get from mix matching a couple of items from your closet, or a suitcase in my case.
Being away on a two week holiday with a limited amount of clothing, made it all more challenging for me
when it came to putting an interesting outfit for a shoot. And while I normally wouldn’t wear all of the above
items necessarily in the same outfit, I have to admit that I really enjoyed the outcome. There’s something
very interesting about mixing high end brands with high street ones, that makes the whole outfit more down to
earth in my opinion. I guess sometimes it’s fun to challenge yourself and think out of the box, don’t you agree?
