Hi everyone, my name is Souzana. Welcome to my digital home!  🌸 🏡 🙆🏼‍♀️

Bubblegumfashionface has been my go-to place to share with the world everything that inspires me from art, film, music, and fashion. Although I might not have been very consistent, it is an outlet that allowed me to express myself freely over the years, and helped me connect and collaborate with many amazing local and international brands, and meet extremely talented and inspiring people around the world wether in person or online. And for this I am forever thankful!

Now if you like to know more about me, below is a (not so) brief summary of my life

———————

Childhood : I come from a multicultural background. My father is Lebanese, my mother is Russian, and I was born in Riga – Latvia, where I lived  for the first 8 years of my life. Since I was a kid I have been passionate about art, fashion, design, and any other form of self-expression. My love affair with fashion started at a very young age. My mother used to work as a seamstress in her free time, and I used to sit by her side for hours watching her create magic with her fabrics. After she was done, I was collecting her leftover fabrics, and try to make dresses for my barbie dolls. As I grew older, the dresses I made grew with me. From mini size barbie dresses, to a bigger doll dresses, to real people size dresses. I still remember the first real size dress I ever made, it was for my high school graduation day. It was an extremely simple and down to earth white dress, but at that moment I couldn’t have been prouder, that I’ve made it all by myself! 👏🏼🤩

Education : After high school I went to study fashion design & pattern making at ESMOD, worked in retail and design for a good couple of years, while also saving my money for a bigger plan i.e. traveling to London to study fashion styling at my dream place Central Saint Martins. Why dream place? The answer simply is Alexander McQueen 🖤 This man was and will always be my love and biggest source of inspiration, and studying in the same school where he studied was one of my biggest dreams. The first day I attended CSM, I was so overwhelmed with joy that I had tears coming through my eyes, ha, no shame here guys!

Work : After achieving my dream of attending Central St. Martins, I went back to Beirut and started my own small business, which provides customer tailored services, from look consultation, wardrobe editing, in-store and digital shopping, to styling for events and concierge services. I’ve been also so lucky to have traveled to so many different parts of the world through my job. Which inspired me so much, and helped me land a wide variety of other jobs through the years. All revolving around my biggest passion, that is fashion. My professional experience varies between design, personal & online styling, wardrobe editing and personal shopping, TV presenting, photography and art direction. I find myself constantly looking for new challenges, and ways of developing a new set of skills. Therefore I consider myself a forever student, and my hunger for knowledge is what keeps me going and constantly growing.
